Listening to music is an essential part of becoming an accomplished musician. That’s why I created the Summer Listening Calendar Challenge.
There is a listening suggestion for every day of June, July, and August. Print them out and give them to your students. The musical suggestions are an eclectic mix of classical, jazz, blues, pop, ethnomusic, and more.
You and your students will expand your musical horizons as you listen to these amazing pieces.
I hand-picked the performances and posted them here on the blog so that you can send your students to watch them, assured that they are the very best!
